Willie Louis Clark

May 2, 1924 — April 10, 2012

The life journey for Deacon Wille L. Clark Sr. Began on May 3,1924 in Jacksonville, Texas. God gave this musical prodigy to the late Lewis Charles and the late Zelda Pearl Jennings-Clark. Willie began playing the piano at the tender age of four. He continued to play beautiful music until his health failed. On July 31, 1954 he united in holy matrimony to Sylvia Mae Randall. To this union six children were born. At an early age he accepted Christ and united with Social Point Baptist Church in Teneha, Texas. He later helped Mother Mary Roblow form Center Point Church of God in Christ, later renamed Faith Center Church of God in Christ, where he remained a devoted member and minister of music until his death.

During his years of service Dec. Clark served under the leadership of Eld. J.L. Wideman, Eld. Charles Smith, Eld. George Wilson and currently Sup. H.P. Jordan. Dec. Clark shared his Godbgiven musical talents, not only for his home church, but for the New Hope Male Chorus, St. John Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church-Kilgore and anyone who needed his service.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: four sons, Charles Edward Clark of Fort Worth, Willie L. Clark Jr. (Beverly) of Dallas, Ronnie R. Clark (Angela), and Randy E. Clark, all of Houston; four daughters, Delaney Clark-Dudley of Longview, Judy Knight-Sanders (Thomas), Stacy Clark-Dudley, and Whitney A. Clark, all of Houston, 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. One grandchild preceded him in death, Sherry Clark.
