Willie Calvin "Joe Boy" Sibley

Willie Calvin “Joe Boy” Sibley was born to Elzie and Eula Mae Sibley on December 6, 1938 in Rusk County. His Lord and Saviour called him home March 27, 2021.

He was a member of Saint John Steber Grove Baptist Church. He was selected to be on the Trustees Committee for four years. He asked to be removed, because he wished to spend more time with his eldest brother, James Sibley, during the time of his illness.

Mr. Sibley was a well-known mechanic, plumber, farmer and electrician. He had a love for music, dancing and “quenty” dollars. His song “My Bills are Due and I’m Busted” is a memory that his family and friends will cherish forever.

Joe Boy was proceeded in death by his wife, Emma Louise Sibley, his parents, two brothers, JW & James Sibley, one sister Elsie Mae Ashley.

He leaves behind the memories of four daughters, Sharon (David) Tralar of Kilgore, TX, and Cecilia (Daryl) Gregg of Longview, TX, Sandra (Alan) Pasjack of Canada, and Sharon Fortson of Longview, TX; two sons, Aladdin (Parenthia) Sibley, and Rydell Sibley both of Overton, TX; two brothers, Jerry Don (Secretha) Sibley and Alvin Sibley both of Fort Worth, TX; five sisters, Donnell Sibley and Annie Lois Hall both of Kilgore, TX, Emma Jean Henderson of Henderson, TX, Juanita (JH) Roberson, and Linda (Horace) Kennedy both of Tyler, TX; three brother-in-laws, Raymond (Mary Ann) Smith of Marshall, TX, Rommie Lee (Laquincia) Smith and Shirley Mack Pierce of Kilgore, TX; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Jean Sibley of Kilgore, TX; twelve grandchildren, Kenya Dudley, Eric Dudley, ShaCory Hawkins, Cedric Lacy, Shandreaun (Andrew) Brown, Cambri (Michael) McCoy, Merissa (Decorian) Floyd, Tiana (J’Korrie) Centers, Diamond Tralar, Dimontray Sibley, Dylan Rachal, & Yeasmine Clayton; twelve great-grandchildren, a special caretaker, Wilma Manning, best friend, MC “Bubba” Mapps, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
