Vestine Jo Britton

She was born December 5, 1948 in Kilgore, TX. She was the daughter of the late Lenon Cameron and Luell Jackson Cameron. She attended North Chapel High School in Kilgore,TX; and graduated from Jack Yates High School in Houston, TX; She received a degree from Odessa College specializing in Clinical Inhalation Therapy. She was united in marriage to John D. Britton on March 29, 1972 and to this union three children were born. She was an active member of Fredonia Baptist Church and served as an Usher faithfully until her death. She was employed at Good Shepherd Hospital, as a Respiratory Therapist and retired on August 17, 1992. She is survived by her husband, John; three children, Raquel (Steve), Terry and Christopher (Brenda), two granddaughters, Raven Faison, Jasmine Williams, one brother, Floyd Cameron (Emma Lois), four sisters, Iris Lang, Lucille Ellison, Glenda Cook, and Lela Ashford. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, two brothers, Gerald Cameron, and Chris Cameron, two sisters, LaVonia Brown, and Faye Cameron.
