Vesta Mae Loyd

Vesta Mae Lacy Loyd was born March 6, 1921 to the parentage of Era Cotton and Virgil Lacy. She departed this earthly life on June 29, 2011 at Beacon Hospice Margaret's House in Longview, Texas.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a retired domestic worker since 1980.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Sammie Lacy, and four children, Kenneth Loyd, Hazel Dudley Robinson, Barbara Dudley, and Earl Loyd.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three sisters, Vermal Riley and Darnell Austin of Phoenix, AZ., Willie Stigers of Omaha, Texas; one brother, Elvers Lacy of Kilgore, TX; six children, Era Dudley Smith, Alvin Reed(Deborah), Linda Loyd Cameron, Larry Loyd(Phillis), Terry Loyd, Jerry Loyd(Sheryl), and daughter-in-law Pauline Loyd, 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 7 great-greatgrandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
