Troy Neal Orange was born February 2, 1949, in Kilgore, Texas, to the parentage of John Wesley Orange Sr. and Jewel Woods Orange.
At a young age, Troy accepted Christ at Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church. He attended C.B. Dansby School to the 11th grade. While attending school he would work alongside his father at his BBQ Shop. Then later exploring many skill sets with his atypical persona. Troy, was hard working, a well-known respected-hustler and family loving man. He gave his last and lended his hand to many. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dominoes, rooting for the NY Giants and a “good” T-bone steak. Most of all, spending time with loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers - Edward Charles Orange, Horace Walter Orange and Ralph Orange; three sisters - Emma Lou Jackson, Eva Lois Kennedy, Debra Redwine.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Troy Neal Hooper of Garland, TX and Joshua O'neal Orange; one daughter, Troylisha Orange (Shannon) of Duluth, GA; two grandkids Josh Orange Jr. and Umunique Orange; two sisters, Aubrey Smith of Longview, TX; Diane Mayfield (Jerry) of Kilgore, TX; two brothers, Michael Orange (Yolanda) of Mesquite, TX; John Wesley Orange (Clara) of Seagoville, TX; sister-in-law, Rena Faye Orange; A special friend - Faye Toliver “Companion” of Overton, TX; Barbara Norris (Clement) of Duluth, GA.
