Travis Robinson Obituary
September 9, 1922- March 31, 2022

Travis was born on September 9, 1922, to Boyd and Precious Robinson. He departed on March 31, 2022, in Kilgore, TX. He was the oldest of six children and attended school in Easton, TX.

Travis joined Union Grove Baptist Church at an early age. Following his time in the Army during WW2 he returned home and married Nadine Kennedy. To this union one child was born- Rosalind Robinson. Travis was an early riser and hard worker. He was a driver at Texas Plumbing for over 30 years. He lived a simple life and was known as a people person. A regular at Luby’s, Travis was known by everyone as their favorite father figure, a role he retained even at the nursing home. He loved his family fiercely and he loved tinkering with his old cars. He also enjoyed watching car racing, boxing, and baseball. He was lovingly cared for by his daughter and nephew.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Raymond and sister Johnnie V. Williams. He leaves to mourn his daughter, a brother Boyd Robinson Jr (Longview), sisters Georgina Chandler (Houston) and Veoria McCarver (California), and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was cared for at Arbor Grace Nursing Home and the Accent Care Hospice staff in Kilgore.
