Thurman "Pete" Polk was born August 15, 1929 to the late John Polk and Ida Mae Harris.

He was a hogger and blacksmith also the greatest father and grandfather.

He is proceeded in death by: his wife Flora D. Polk, his mother, father, four brothers, and sister.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his children Leonard Earl Polk, Miriam Willis, Annie Johnson, Rose Polk Walker, John F. Polk, and also one brother Robert "Tom" Polk. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
