Ms. Teresa Thompson Bynum, affectionately known to everyone as “T,” was born on October 23, 1957 in Tyler, TX to the late Rev. Timothy E. Thompson and Lue Helen Thompson Simpson. Teresa was the eighth of thirteen children.
She united in Holy Matrimony to George Bynum and to this union one child was born, Doritha Bynum. Later in life she gave birth to another daughter, Jacqueline Warren-Quinney.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, five brothers, and one sister.
Teresa attended Kilgore schools. She worked for many years at Ana-Lab in Kilgore, Tx as a custodian, and spent several years housekeeping and sitting for the elderly. T loved her family, just liked to have a good time in and out of church. More than anything loved to call and leave full length voicemails on her family’s phones.
She lived in Kilgore, TX and became an active and faithful member at True Saints Church of the Living God, under the leadership of Bishop P.D. and Bishop Emma Austin and whatever her hands found to do, she done just that. After moving her membership from True Saints, she became an active and dedicated member to Prayerful Temple the New Generation in Longview, TX under the leaders Pastor Dwain and Pastor Essie Mapps until the Lord called her home.
