Rutha Paralee Jernigan Bowers

Rutha Paralee Jernigan-Bowers was born in Gregg County on April 16, 1934 to Eddie Mitchell and Carrie Mitchell.

At an early life she was baptized at Corinth Christian Church and attended Kilgore Schools. She specialized in airplane technology. She was a loving caring wife, mother, and aunt. She was very generous and kind to all she knew and made everyone feel right at home especially at dinners held each holiday.

Early in life she met and married Allen Ray Jernigan. Later in life she met and married Edward Thomas Bowers both precede her in death along with her parents Eddie and Carrie Mitchell, one brother J.C. Mitchell, two sisters Albearance Sheffield and Erma Jean Kennedy.

She went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Rutha leaves to cherish her memory son Vincent Bowers, sister Edna Browne, nieces Linda Sheffield, Carolyn Traylor, Lydia Witcher and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
