Lt. Commander Rudolph McAfee

Rudolph McAfee 91, passed from this life on March 22, 2022. He was born November 30, 1930, to John Henry and LaBetha (Sanders) McAfee. Upon Graduation from C. B. Dansby High School, Rudolph joined the U. S. Navy and served for 30 years. He took a second job after retiring from the Nav y at Rohr Industries in Chula Vista, Ca. and was there until 1993.

Rudolph and Ruth Samples McAfee were married in 1952. They were blessed to enjoy each other for 69 years.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry, LaBetha McAfee, his siblings, Ervin, John Henry, II (Elsie), Travis (Phyllis), Osborne (Bertha), Lorene (Calvin), and his son Xavier McAfee.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ruth, daughters, Felicia (Cedric) of DeSoto, Tx. , Valerie (Kevin), of Norco, CA, sons Darryl o f Kilgore, TX. , Leland (Sabrina) of Midlothian, TX. Grandchildren: Celisa Sampson (Ron), Joshua Jacobs (Brittaney), Jordan and Jacob Washington, Caleb Jacobs , Addison, Alysia, Xavier, Xander, and Xoe McAfee, five great-grandchildren, Darius, Oshae, Yssis, Aubrey, Hailey , and a host of relatives and friends.
