Rosetta Brown

Mrs. Rosetta Brown was born July 14, 1923 to the parentage of Beatrice and Dave Britton. She attended Star Baily School in Laird Hill, Texas. She was a member of Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church until her health started to fail her. She worked hard as a housekeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren as well as recycling cans and going to garage sales. She was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and Dave Britton and her siblings Julie Britton, Alma Bea Young, Gearlddean Wheat, Hazel Lacy, Bertha Kay Britton, Sallie Williams, Robert Britton, Johnny Britton, Lonnie Britton, and Butler Britton. She leaves to cherish her husband Willie Brown of Kilgore, TX, five children Ruthie Mayfield of Longview, TX, Dorothy Lacy (Burnett) of Kilgore, TX, Larry Brown (Mattie) of Longview, TX, Parie Williams (Charles) of Kilgore, TX, and Bertha Nelson (Jerry) of Kilgore, TX; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
