Roosevelt "Junior" Henderson departed this life for his new home with the Lord Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Mother Frances Hospital of Tyler, Texas. Roosevelt better known as "Junior" loved working with his hands. His favorite past time was harvesting his garden, watching it grow, and sharing his produce with family and friends. He also loved his Church enjoying the singing and inspiring messages while sitting on his favorite pew. Preceding him in death were his loved ones; wife QV Henderson, parents,Roosevelt Sr, and Lu La Phyllis Wallace Henderson, brother, Thomas Henderson, daughter, Glenda Gail Kennedy, and son, Charles Henderson. His memories will be cherished by his three daughters, Phyllis Henderson, Dorinda Henderson, Hyacinth(HI-C)Henderson Holt (Randy), two son's, Gerald Henderson, Kenneth Henderson (Kimberly), 3 aunts, Mattie George, Janie Jeffery, Aduis Wilson (Bonnie), two uncles, Johnny Jackson, Thomas Lee, two sister-in-laws, Mary Pinke, Maxine Fortson, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. His legacy continues through the lives of his nieces, nephews, special friends, and other relatives.
