Rodney "La" Faggett

He was born April 4, 1956 in Richmond, California to the parentage of the late Mack and Othetta Faggett.

He later moved to Longview, TX., and attended Longview ISD. He worked for Halliburton and later was employed with Warrior IPS Energy Services. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church. He was married to Vickie Colbert Faggett. His hobbies included fishing, outdoor cooking, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
He died September 6, 2013. Public viewing1:00-9:00 PM., at Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by brother, Arthur Dean Faggett, sister, Odessa Seigh, grandmother, Elvie Sirls, and nephew George Sanders Jr.
He is survived by wife; Vickie Colbert Faggett, daughter, Sheneka Fite, step-daughters, Kitina Coleman and Shannon Polk; son, Rodney D. Faggett, stepson SSGT. Jason Colbert; sisters, Loretta Cox, Debbie Faggett-Sanders, Essie Faggett, Sharon Faggett-Johnson; brothers, Hershell Seigh, Lonnie Brown, David Faggett, Mack Faggett Jr.; aunt Vera Crowe; 2 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren. A very special mother-in-law Ernestine Colbert, 11 nieces, 7 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
