Robert Leroy Worthington

February 15, 1968 — March 9, 2025

Robert Leroy “Robbie” Worthington, 57, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Longview, Texas. Born on February 15, 1968, in the United States to Willie Grace and Jimmy Worthington, Robbie lived a life defined by boundless generosity, unwavering devotion to his family, and a heart that touched everyone he encountered. Robbie was a man whose presence filled every room with warmth and laughter. Known for his genuine nature and his signature crooked smile—often seen when he was playfully teasing those he loved—he brought joy and comfort to countless lives. He had an extraordinary capacity for kindness and would go to any length to help others. There truly wasn’t a person he wouldn’t lend a hand to. At the center of Robbie’s world was his beloved family. He shared his life with his wife, Teresa Worthington, who stood beside him through every chapter. Together they built a family that became the very essence of Robbie's being. He was a devoted father to Cheyanne Worthington Fitch and her husband Colton Ewing; Brooklyn Kitchings and her husband Brandon; Oran Cheek; and Kayle Cheek. His love for his children knew no bounds—he worshipped the ground they walked on and found purpose in their happiness. Robbie’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Faith, Brantly, and Cheyla Fitch; Benjamin and Samuel Kitchings—his pride and joy; Kyslee Medina; Kyden and Karcyen Jones; and Kamden Cheek-Snyder. Each one held a special place in his heart, and he poured endless love into their lives. He is also remembered by his mother, Willie Grace Boston, who survives him with enduring love. Robbie now joins in eternal rest his granddaughter K’loe Jane Cheek; daughter-in-law Valerie McBride; father Jimmy Worthington; and stepfather William Jerry Boston. Though words can scarcely capture the depth of loss felt by those who knew him, Robbie’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his family. His immense love will continue to echo through generations—a testament to the life he lived so fully. May Robert Leroy “Robbie” Worthington be remembered always for the love he gave so freely, the laughter he inspired so often, and the strength he showed so effortlessly. Rest in peace—the most amazing man we have ever known.
