Robert Earl "Shag" Warren

Robert E. Warren was born to the late Frank and Ora Bell Warren in Smith County on June 12, 1954. He attended public school at Dunbar, Jackson and Chapel Hill high school, class of 1972. October 25, 1972 he joined the USA Navy and was a proud veteran. Robert was a member of Mt. Zion C.M.E. Kilgore. He worked as a carpenter and was a jack of all trades, if it was fixing your car, plumbing or any electrical needs. he could do it all. God blessed him with those talents. Shag had a big heart doing anything to help people in the community. He will be missed by many. Shag loved his seventies music, going to the grand-kids sports events, most of all his birthday parties, because his classmates was going to show up. He loved his siblings and made sure if we needed anything he would do his best to try to get it done. Robert was united in marriage to Melissa Martin and gained 2 sons and three grandchildren. Loving memories will be cherished by his wife, Melissa Martin Warren of Winona, TX .
