Raymond David Williams Jr.

Joyful memories of the past will prevail over despair. Broken hearts will be mended by knowing he’s there.  His spirit, and essence surrounds us each day. He touched your hearts to bless us with kindness, food, prayers, and words of encouragement during this time of bereavement to console us. With grateful hearts we say thank you and forever be blessed .

Raymond Williams was born June 28, 1949, in Gregg County, Texas to the late Raymond Williams Sr., and the late Carrie Williams. Raymond attended North Chapel and later graduated from Sabine ISD and attended Kilgore Junior College. He united with Mt. Pleasant CME Church at an early age singing zion music with Mt. Pleasant Male chorus.

He served as a lead brewer for Schultz Brewery and later retired. His hobbies included pool, dominos, and baseball.

He is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Carrie Williams and wife Lou Ann Williams.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his wife Janet Williams, One sister Callie Harvey, niece Lashell Harvey, great-niece Lauren Hudson, two stepsons, Madero and Nick, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
