Phillip Timms was born July 29, 1947 in Gladewater, TX to the late Phillip & Celester Arnold Timms. Hi life ended Dec. 28, 2017.

He attended Dunbar and Jackson Schools. He united with Mt. Zion CME at an early age. He was never married.

His parents, one sister and 4 brothers preceded him in death.

He leaves to memories his best friend, Shelia Williams; one sister, Virginia Lee of Kilgore, TX; two brothers, James Sanford of Dallas, TX and Rufus Timms of Winona, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
