Oscar Lee "Dick" Dennis

He was born April 22, 1938 to the parentage of the late Matthew Dennis and Juanita Garrett Hamilton in Rusk County, TX. He attended Arp Industrial High School. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church. He served in the US Army, and retired from Tyler Pipe after 39 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, step-father Hubert Hamilton, and brother Calvin Garrett.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Shelby Jean Dennis, Overton, TX; son, Enos Dennis, Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Nattlon Dennis (Harvey), Overton, TX; Tracie Dennis, Tyler, TX; Five grandchildren, Tajuana, Fritz, Jackie, Damon, and Zaria. 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, mother, Juanita Hamilton, Overton, TX; One brother, M.J. Johnson, Overton, TX; seven sisters, Mae Benford, (Clint) Denton, TX; Dorothy Duncan,(Ezell) Arp, TX; Alice Colbert, Kilgore, TX; Ruby Hinton (Billy), Fay Cotton, Juanita Cary (Louis), Overton, TX; Janis Minnick ( Charles), Tyler, TX; Three aunts, three uncles, two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law. One adopted son, Henry Rollins, pet "Jo Jo" and a host of nieces,nephews,other relatives and friends. Visitation 12:30-8:30 P.M. Wednesday at Funeral Home.
