She had a strong faith in God. She united with the Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age where she sang in the youth choir and served on the Junior Usher Board. She later united with the Fredonia Baptist Church under Christian experience.
Jeanette’s faith and Christianity then led her to unite with Post Oak Baptist Church. She was a member of the Gospel choir and chaired the culinary committee. She served in these capacities until her health and body would not allow.
Even though she was sick, not feeling good, hurting, or just didn’t think she could go, she attended church to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She pushed her way through.
