Odessa Pickron

Odessa Pickron was born December 25, 1920 to the parentage of Leon Wilson Sr., and Bessie Lou Harris Wilson in Gibsland, Louisiana.

On July 23, 2012 she entered into her eternal resting place. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leon Pickron, father Leon Wilson Sr., mother Bessie Wilson, brothers, Leon Wilson Jr., William Wilson, sons, Le Gene Pickron, Johnnie Pickron, sister, Helen Mure.
She leaves to cherish her memories; five daughters, Lossie Ingram of Kilgore, Mary Lacy of Waco, Geraldine Tillman of Kilgore, Rosetta Smith of Waco, Rye Terrell of Houston. Four sons
David Pickron(Sharon) of Garland, Lent T Pickron (Ruth) of Longview, Ernest Pickron (Maudie) of Garland, Jay Lee Pickron (Ernestine) of Garland. She raised Mattie Gonerway and John C. Davis as her children. 70 grandchildren, and blessings of many many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Also a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.
