Obie Lampkin

He was born February 10, 1920 to the parentage of the late Felo Lampkin and Pinetha Teagle Lampkin, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

He served in U.S. Army.He was married to Alean Akins Lampkin for 65 years.He was preceded in death by his siblings, one daughter Pinetha Thomas.He survived by his loving wife, Alean Lampkin of Kilgore, TX.Two sons, James Lampkin of Dallas, TX; Ronnie Lampkin of Kilgore, TX.Three daughters, Opal Gray of Longview, TX; Loretta Spearman of Longview, TX;Carolyn Glass of San Antonio, TX; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
