Nathaniel Woods was born April 10, 1936 in Monroe, Texas to the late Sam and Essie Woods.

He was a faithful member of Kilgore Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death.  He graduated from C.B. Dansby High School and attended Kilgore College.
