Mattie Loyd

Mattie Loyd was born on November 4, 1919 in Longview, TX to the late George and Rachel Ervin. Her earthly life ended on April 23, 2018.

She attended Fredonia School System. She united with the Pleasant Green Baptist Church at an early age and later moved her membership to the Fredonia Baptist Church of Kilgore, TX.

She was married to the late Roy Lee Loyd for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and five brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Nephew Curtis (Glenda) Coleman, four nieces: Mattie B. Butler, Eddie Lee (Johnny) Williams, Helen Richardson, Katherine Bryant, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends; Novela Gray, Mary Dunn, A-Z Gray, and Tyree Daniels.
