Mamie Debose

Mrs. DeBose was born November 6, 1909 to the late Rufus Roscoe Jones and Rosa Pentecost Jones in Rusk County, Texas. She was a native of the Pirtle Community all her life. She weas a dedicated member of Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church until her health failed. She loved to garden and help people any way she could. She met and married Jake Lollie and to this union four children were born. She later married L.K. DeBose.

She left this old world to be our Lord and Savior on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the beautiful age of 103.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Roscoe Jones and Rosa Pentecost Jones, one son Henry Lollie, husbands Jake Lollie and L.K. Debose, and one sister, three brothers, two nephews, three nieces, one grandson, and one great-great grandson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter Louise Jackson of Kilgore, TX, two sons, Claude and wife Mary Lollie of Witchta Falls, TX, Freddie and wife Lorene Lollie of Kilgore, TX, daughter-in-law Billie Jean Lollie, godson E A (Shortie) and wife Maybeth Avant of Kilgore, TX, eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and twenty eight great-great grandchildren. Special caregiver granddaughter Wanda Allen, Doctors and Nurses of Good Shepherd Medical Center, Heart to Heart Hospice Care of Longview, Tx\X, Dr. Atulkumar Patel of Kilgore, TX. Special family friend Paul and Patsy Harrison of Dallas, TX, Elizabeth Penter of Madisonville, LA, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
