Mae Ethel Hutchings was born May 7, 1928 to the parentage of the late Arthur and Emma Lacy. She attended New Hope Schools. She worked at the Streamliner Resataurant until she retired after 18 years of service. She attended New Hope Schools and attended New Hope Church at an early age. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Clifford Hutchings in 1945. She was strong woman and a mother of four children. She instilled in her children the importance of getting a good education. She never met a stranger and always welcomed anyone who visited her home to a home cooked meal. She is survived by her children, Magaret Brown (Orell) of Kilgore, TX; Millie Allen of Dallas, TX; Carolyn Perrin (Herbie) of Germantown, Ohio; Carlton Hutchings (Anna) of Longview, TX; two brothers, Robert Lacy of Longview, TX; Virgil Lacy of Phoenix, AZ; four sisters, Helen Jones of Fort Worth, TX; Ernestine Roberson, Lou Della Lacy, and Linda Lacy all of Phoenix. AZ; Sister-in-law, Connie Daniels,nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Clifford Hutchings, brother, Roscoe Lacy, grandson Christopher Griffin.
