M J Garrett Johnson

he was born February 11, 1935 to the parentage of the late Hubert and Juanita Hamilton in Rusk County. He attended the Arp Industrial High School, he united with the Zion Baptist Church and he left and went to Denton Texas and later joined Mt. Pilgrim CME Church in Denton, Texas. He served in the US Army and retired as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sons, two daughters, two brothers, one granddaughter.

He died November 17, 2016.
He leaves to cherish his memories: six daughters, Juanita Johnson of Longview, Bridgette David, Sandra Alburdy, Marjorie Young all of Denton, Texas. Wanda Morah of Huntsville, Texas, Gail Evans of Arlington, Texas, two sons Roy McIntosh of Denton, Texas and Jessie Williams of Arp, Texas, 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren. 7 sisters, 4 aunts, 2 uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
