Lowell Neal Martin

Lowell was born on Monday, August 25, 1958 in Kilgore, Gregg County, Texas to the parentage of James Maurice and Avis Neal Martin. He was the youngest of four children. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Willows in Kilgore, Texas.
At an early age he united with Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church where he was a member of the Junior Choir.
He attended the Kilgore Independence School District where he enjoyed wood shop and auto mechanics. He was a member of the Kilgore High School graduating class of 1978.
His working days were in the manufacturing industry resulting in retirement from Kilgore Ceramics/Mansfield Plumbing after 22 years of service.
He had a spirited soul that enjoyed family gatherings, cars especially hot rods, horses, and he loved to fish.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Brenda Martin Johnson and brother Wyatt Martin.
He is survived by his children; daughter Shakundra L. Martin, Houston, TX and son Carziel O. Martin, Longview, TX; brother and sister-in-law Larry M and Willie Bea Martin, Overton, TX; longtime companion, Waynetta M. Jackson, Kilgore, TX; special nieces Cosetta M. Johnson, Plano, TX and Chris Johnson Jackson, Longview, TX; special nephew Lozak L. Johnson, Overton, TX close cousin Doyle Farste, Overton, TX; along with other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
