Lorine Murray Brown

Ms. Lorine Brown, age 89, was born on September 6, 1931 in Commerce, Texas to Solomon and Elmira Murray.
Lorine was a strong, determined, and independent woman.

She attended Kilgore schools. She was a member of New Birth Fellowship Church under Pastor Gary Walker. She was a fantastic cook and for many years she worked for the McClendon's. Her favorite pastime was going to play bingo.

She married Johnnie Roy Brown, who preceded her in death, December 1966. She later shared a life with her special friend Roland Young, who preceded her in death December 2012. She is also preceded in death by her parents Solomon and Elmira Murray; brothers Charles Murray and John Woods; sister Lizzie Murray and daughter Beverly Craig.

Lorine is survived by her children Brenda Brown of Detroit, Michigan, Wanda Bobo of Scottdale, Georgia, Janice Brown of Kilgore, Texas, Machelle Chadwell (Donald) of Edmonds Oklahoma, and Ronnie Calico of Houston, Texas.; sister Lula Murray (Pat) of Los Angeles, California.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, one God-granddaughter and a host of many other family members who will miss her every day.
