On December 10, 1954, an angel with a heart of Gold was born to the parentage of Ms. Christine Calloway and Mr. Johnny Jackson. Linnie left this world peacefully on March 6, 2022, to go be with her Lord.
Linnie walked with God everyday of her life she worshipped and faithfully served the Lord at Church of the Living God Pillar Ground and Truth of Dallas, TX. Linnie graduated school at Chapel Hill High School and studied at Kilgore College
She was a very hard-working woman. Linnie loved to love and when she loved, it came from the heart.
Her mission in life was simple, love the Lord whole heartedly, do His will, and shower her children and grandchildren with unconditional love. Her love stretched further than family. As long as she had a roof, her doors were open. If a friend of a family needed a home or just a place to rest their head in her house they were welcomed. That was her way of doing God’s will. She carried a loyal soul if she said she would be there for you she was there to help carry that load until the end. She was a true woman of her word.
Linnie nurtured, loved, and cherished one son and two daughters.
She met Mr. Lawrence Johnson in the late 70’s and built and unbreakable foundation that lasted until the end of her days.
Awaiting her at the pearly gates of Heaven is her mother Ms. Christine Calloway, father Mr. Johnny Jackson, grandmother Ms. Minnie Breedlove, brother Bobby Calloway, sister Jonnie Mae Jackson, and Uncle Cecil Calloway.
Left here to forever cherish her memories are her partner in life Mr. Lawrence Johnson, son Mr. Troy Hooper, daughter Ms. Deandra Johnson, daughter Ms. Wakisha Johnson, sister Francis Mosely, five grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-granddaughters, and a host of relatives and friends.
