Leon Clarence Nobles

Leon Clarence Nobles was born December 6, 1943 to the late Willie & Mable Nobles in Kilgore, Texas. On Thursday, December 01,2011at 8:30pm Leon answered the Masters call to come home at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas, Texas. In his early years in Kilgore, Leon attended C.B.DansbyHigh School and graduated Class of 1962. Leon also attended Jarvis Christian College. He served in the U.S.Army. In his early years he became a member of Union Baptist Church, which later became Macedonia Baptist Church. Leon later moved to the Dallas area, in which he was employed byS&H Green Stamp and later for a local automobile dealership. Leon was a very intelligent person and had a sweet disposition about him. In his final weeks of life, in the midst of his illness, Leon continued to find his joy and peace in the arms of our Lord. In 2005, he was united inHoly matrimony with Debra Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Mable Nobles, one brother, Willie L.. Nobles Jr., and one daughter Wilber Tina Nobles. He is survived by wife Debra Ross,sons DeMarcus Nobles, Jamal Nobles of Kilgore, one sisterRetaHicks (Pastor Peter Hicks) of Cedar Hill, one brother, Charles Ray Nobles of Kilgore, two granddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, family, andfriends.
