Larry Don Johnson

Larry Don Johnson was born to parentage of Ester Lee Johnson (Pollard) and Mack “Junior” Hicks in Kilgore, TX September 19, 1951

He attended school at C.B. Dansby, Kilgore High School and Rice University where he obtained an Associate of Arts Degree.

He worked as a truck driver for approximately 35 years and was a co-owner of a cab with friend Kenneth.

He was preceded in death by father Mack “Junior” Hicks, brother Clifford Lee Pollard, daughter Sheila Fuery and son Larry Don Johnson Jr. (Bimbo) and ex-wife Gwendolyn Bacon

Larry Don Johnson was married twice 1 ^st wife Hestina Yvette Fuery Johnson to which they had 3 children. 2 ^nd wife Gwendolyn McGowen (Bacon) to which they had 3 children.

He leaves to cherish: Mother, Ester Pollard; Siblings: Ester Shaw (Byron), Jennifer Sanders (J.D), Christopher Pollard (Allena), Braelon Pollard (Whitney), Paula Hicks, Yolanda Hicks, Nedra Faye Williams (Charles) and Charlezetta “Penny” Nelson; Children: Alpha Mathis (Greg), Larry Demond Johnson, De’Acraues Johnson (Tracy), and Shun Johnson; One aunt Ruthie Ford and one uncle Timothy Johnson. As well as 21 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
