La Joyce Dorsey Ervin

LaJoyce Ervin was born July 2, 1956 in Tyler, TX. She attended Stanton Elementary School and Whitehouse High School. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served in many capacities.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Sr. and Christiana Dorsey, one brother James Dorsey Jr.

She is survived by husband of 43 years Charlie Ervin; two daughters, Ramonia (Terrell) Key and Ladina (Jeremy) Thompson; two sisters, Mildred (Robert) Willis and Jettie Smith; five brothers, Wilbert (Maxine), Tommy, Walter (Lula), L.D. (Virginia), Billy (Angie) Dorsey; six grandkids, Aaliyah, Khyree, Ian, Jayla, Jordyn, and Jayden. A host of other relatives and friends.
