Katie Mae Howard

Katie Mae Howard (aka) Aunt Kate, was born January 28, 1930 in Kilgore, Texas to the parentage of the late James Duffy Williams and Janie Calloway Williams.

On Tuesday July 1, 2014 God called her home to rest. She was ready to go home. In her early years she was employed at Roy H. Laird Hospital as a X-Ray Technician, until her health failed. She grew up attended the Kilgore Schools, She was faithful member of El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.

She was preceded in death by two sons, four husbands, six siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Doretha Mayfield Stone of Dallas, TX; Oletha Henry of Kilgore, TX; son, Henry W. Mayfield of Cedar Hill, TX; four grandchildren, Bridget Thomas, J.P. Allen Jr., Robert A. Mitchell, and Mc Kaleb B. Stone. Four great-grandchildren, Jerimah Allen, Sarah Allen, Joshua Allen, Breanna Thomas. She is also survived by Imogene Barber, special daughter-in-law Barbara Allen, two special son-in-laws, Henry Stone Jr., and Troy Balard. Saying good bye to nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
