~First Lady Katherine Freeman Lockhart~
Katherine was born to the parentage of George Brittain and Lee Bertha Freeman in Longview, TX on May 30, 1956. Frank Coleman played a part in raising her.
She attended Weldon Elementary/Intermediate and Gladewater High School in Gladewater, TX. She accepted Christ at a young age at Rising Star C.O.G.I.C Gladewater, TX and later attended Triumphant Faith and Linden C.O.G.I.C where she served as First Lady. She served as a strong prayer warrior and very dedicated to the prayer line every morning.
She worked as a healthcare provider, providing care for the disabled.
Her hobbies were fishing, playing bingo, shopping, and spending time with loved ones.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents George Brittain, Lee Bertha Freeman, and Frank Coleman; Henry Boyd, grandson Demarco Boyd, and granddaughters Queena Bradley and Dalancia Freeman.
Those left to cherish her memories: her husband Elder Sammie Lockhart; children Donovan Freeman, Lance (Shonda) Freeman, Christine Portley, Henrietta Bradley, Carol Thornton, Sammie Lockhart Jr., Ken Lockhart, Joshua Lockhart, and Jennifer Lockhart; siblings Faye Dell Miller, Eddie Freeman, Mildred Ross Manning, Jewel Polk, Emma Benson, Mary Walker, and Jerry Freeman; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
