Johnny Travis Williams was born on June 11, 1983 at the Roy H. Laird Hospital, Kilgore, Texas to the parentage of Travis Williams and Annie Mae Beasley Williams, while his dad, Travis passed out cigars to the nurses. Johnny attended school and graduated from the Kilgore Independent School District in the spring of 2002.
He attended the Ebenezer COGIC, Henderson, Texas and Kilgore Baptist Church, Kilgore, Texas. Growing up, he loved playing basketball, soccer and watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He also went to Kilgore College to study Karate. Johnny loved to dance and tried to “cut-up”! On weekends and holidays, he loved returning home and spending time with his mom and dad. Johnny loved to express himself and communicate what he was going through. He often told it like “it was” and he always would end his conversation by saying “I Love You." Johnny loved music and dance. His favorite artists included: Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson. One of his favorite songs was, “A Thin Line Between Love and Hate”, and movies: Home Alone and Daddy’s Little Girls. He was an avid fan of Michael Jackson and he loved Michael Jackson’s, “American Dream”. Johnny was also in the Special Olympics.
Johnny departed this life in his sleep, on Wednesday afternoon, March 23, 2022.
He leaves behind, his father Travis Williams of Kilgore, TX, brother Lynn (June) Beasley of Gary, Texas; Sister Gwen (Rev. Chris) Jeffery of Longview, Texas; nieces and nephews DeLynnderick (Camory/Anissa) Beasley of Carthage, Texas, Canebra Beasley (Jada/Jaden Henderson) of Center, Texas, Christa/Christian Jeffery of Longview, Texas, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. His final year, he was happy and he will be extremely missed by many.
