John Gilbert Moser

Rev. John G. Moser John Gilbert Moser, 90, a retired Pastor having been ordained as a minister in 1972; of Whitehouse, PA went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 16, 2021. John Moser was born on July 25, 1931, in Uniontown Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late John H Moser and Evelyn Moser, of Whitehouse, PA. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Kilgore, Texas. He retired from the US Army in 1974 after 22 years of service having served in the Korean War and Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star in Vietnam. Went on to receive his Bachelor of Science from Arlington Baptist College. Pastored a mission in Zweibruecken, Germany; pastored a church in Fort Worth Texas; moved to McClellandtown, PA and pastored 2 churches there. In 2017 retired and moved to Kilgore, Texas where he passed away. Surviving him is his wife, Dora Moser, and his children John Moser Jr. and wife Pamela; Cindy Nichols and husband Phillip; Ricky Moser and fiancé Molly Fitch; Robert Moser and wife Vanessa; and Walter Moser and wife Traci Moser; grandfather of 17 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and brother of Jimmy Moser, Helen Moser-Dillow, Betty Moser-Miller, Mary Lou Moser-Kelly; Linda Moser-Kinney, Lelia Moser (deceased).
