Jimmy Lynn Lawler Sr. was born on May 8, 1957 to the late Howard Thomas and Lula Elizabeth Lawler.

He attended Kilgore ISD and graduated from Kilgore High School. He departed this life on March 26, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one son Jimmy Lynn Lawler Jr.; four granddaughters Kaneshia Lawler, Iriseshia Brown, Christine Lawler, and Nyla Lawler; one great-grandson Ky'Riee Bush; five brothers Ray Lawler, Rickey Lawler, Gary Lawler, Shun Lawler, and Reggie Lawler; three sisters Willie (Cookie) Garrison, Patricia Bailey, and Janice Benson; and special friend Amber Tisdell.
