Jimmie Ray Jackson

He was born September 15, 1964 in Kilgore to the parentage of Jimmie and Gurtha Jackson. He was a member of New Birth Fellowship Church, attended Kilgore Public Schools, furthered his education at Kilgore College and then the University of North Texas where he also played football. He worked for Pak-Sher for over 25 years until his health failed. He was and avid lover sports and loved to travel. Jimmie never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his father Jimmie Jackson.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Jeremy Jackson and Jamal Jackson of Gilmer, TX; mother, Mrs. Gurtha Jackson of Kilgore, TX; brothers, Raymond (Kim) Jackson and Patrick ( Tashata) Jackson of Kilgore, TX; E.D. ( Tenika) Jackson of McKinney, TX; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
