Jiles Kenney

Jiles Kenney Jr. was born August 8, 1948 to Jiles and Viola Kenney. He was a member of Kilgore Baptist Church and accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated in 1967 from C.B. Dansby High School. After graduating from high school, he moved to Waskom where he met and married Laverne Hill. They were wed on October 31, 1969. To this union two children were born. For 15 years, he was employed at Leal Solutions of DART as a supervisor. He was an active member of his community, and always willing to help anyone he could. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 39 years, LaVerne Kenney of Cedar Hill, TX; two daughters: Monica Kenney of Cedar Hill, TX., and Vanessa Kenney of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren: Justin Kenney, Brianna Kenney, Rhyan Taylor, and Christian Taylor all of Cedar Hill, TX; three sisters: Monica Carr, Valrine Kenney, and Carlene Lily all of Kilgore, TX; and a special acquaintance Milton Davis, of Terrell, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends.
