Janice Marie Brown Wheat

Mrs. Janice Marie Brown- Wheat age 65 was born on September 26, 1956 in Longview, TX to Lonzo Bell and Lorine Brown.

Janice was a strong, determined, and independent woman. She attended Kilgore schools. She was a member of New Birth Fellowship Church under Pastor Gary Walker. She was the nutrition supervisor over KISD schools and was a direct care giver to D&S Residential and Harmony Living Center. Last but not least, she was a mother figure to many near and far. Janice went to be with our heavenly father on October 10, 2021. She married Gene Rogers Wheat on March 17, 1986. She later shared life with her special friend Wille Ford who preceded her in death April 2003. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, a sister and multiple aunts and uncles.

Janice is survived by her only child Keva Brown (fiancé Brandon) of Kilgore, TX.; Siblings: Brenda Fabre (Edwin) of Detroit, MI., Wanda Bobo of Scottdale, GA., Machelle Chadwell (Donald) of Edmonds, OK., Tori Henderson of Dallas, TX., Lamarcus Bell of Dallas, TX., and Ronnie Calico of Kilgore, TX.; Aunt Lula Murray (Pat) of Los Angeles, CA.; Grandchildren: Michael Henderson, Keyonna Ector (Breon) of Kilgore, TX. Great-grandchildren: Emori Ector, Ma’Keya Henderson, Aaden Henderson, and Adrian Henderson. Multiple nieces and nephews. Special friends: Arnita Grant, Norma Johnson, Sonya Pardon and Lora Culberson. One God-daughter Whitney Johnson and a host of many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
