James Earl Brager

The life journey of James E. Brager began November 2,1937 and the journey ended Monday, October 3, 2011.

James was born to the parentage of the late Herrese Brager anf Lennese Ector in Rusk County.

At an early age, he united and was baptized at El Bethel Baptist Church.

James attended Arp High School and was employed at Kilogre Ceramic until he retired.

On Monday morning, October 3, 2011, James quietly and peacefully departed this earthly life to go and be with his Heavenly Father and his parents, mother Herrese Brager Sheffield; his father, Lennese Ector and his loving brother, Adolph Sheffield.

He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Dorothy Adair; four stepchildren, Monica Adair of Longview, Roosevelt Adair, Sandra Adams, James R. Sanders and the late Lester Sanders all of Kilgore; two brothers, Jimmy Lee Sheffield (Helen) of Dallas, TX and Solon Sheffield (Judy) and one sister-in-law, Dale Sheffield of Kilgore; eight grandchildren; five special friends, Robert Jackson, Bobby Durham, Henry Williams, Calvin Sheffield, and Colleen Cooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
