Jackie Denise Grant

Jackie Denise Grant was born on September 18, 1968, to the late Jo Ann Grant and Horris Domino. She received her education at Overton Elementary and High School. She loved football, boxing, her family, and most of all detailing her cars. At one point in time, she owned her own car wash in Overton, TX. She never met a stranger, loved to talk, and laugh. She worked as a cook, as a home health aide, and worked at Walmart for the last 7 years as a night stocker in Kilgore, TX. She joined Zion Baptist Church at an early age under Pastor Tyrone Gee.

Early in life Jackie joined Fredrick Jordan in Holy Matrimony and to this union two children were born. Later in life she joined Javonnie Coats in Holy Matrimony.

Jackie gained her wings on August 20, 2021, at Longview Regional Hospital. Jackie was preceded in death with first born baby boy Fredrick Jordan Jr., mother Jo Ann Grant, sister Marsha Grant Powe, grandfather James Domino, step-grandfather Jeff Smith, aunt Ernestine Turner, Dorothy Nell Coats, nephew Christopher Grant, a great niece Nikayla Marie Dewberry Grant.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memories to her wife Javonnie Coats Grant of Longview, TX; son Horris Jordan of Dallas, TX; step kids Elester, Tonesha, and Brittany Coats; siblings Vickie (Bernard) Wilson of Longview, TX, Debra Grant of Tyler, TX, Melvin (Rita) Grant of Overton, TX, Tyrone (LaKeshia) Grant of Henderson, TX; stepmother Caroline Minor Domino of Overton, TX; Jeffery (LaTrice) Minor of Overton, TX, Keith (Paulette) of Tyler, TX, and Christopher McMihelk of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed by all.
