Ida Jewel Smith Roberson was born March 21, 1932. She was 78 years ol;d when she ended this precious life.
Born at home by a midwife, she was a member of St. John Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher. She worked for the Ed Gage family for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roberson, mother, Allini Smith Dudley, father, Roy Smith, daughter, Linda Stafford, two sisters, Arvie Lou Smith Dudley, and Frances Johnson, three brothers, Lee Roy Smith, Floyd Smith, and George Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Charles Dixon, two grandchildren, Moneka Anthony, and Deldrick Anthony. Two greatgrandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Two sisters, Annece Smith, and Rose Lee Dixon, special niece Mary Walker, a very special nephew Mikel Ector, three sister-in-laws, Caudy Bell Williams, Doris Bogen and Sue Howard. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
