Henry Earl Pinkard

Henry Pinkard was born August 24, 1946 in Kilgore, Texas to proud parents,Jeffery Pinkard Jr.,and Teola B. Samples Pinkard. He was the eldest of nine children.He accepted Christ at a young age, was a member Bates Memorial CME Church in Kilgore, Texas and served as an usher at the age of 9. As an adult he attended Faith Believers Christian Center in Altadena, California. Henry completed elementary, junior high and two years of high school in Kilgore, Texas. He spent his career as a Deputy Probation Officer working with troubled teens for Los Angeles County. His father, Jeffrey Pinkard Jr., and sisters, Teresa F. Pinkard and Mary B. Pinkard preceded him in death. Henry leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Teola B. Pinkard-Williams; three sons, Diallo Pinkard, Kyle Pinkard, Henry Pinkard; his precious daughter, Alexis Pinkard-Culley( Andy); five sisters, Gloria Franklin, Carolyn Pinkard, Eva Jeff(Curtis), Anita Pinkard, Erika Hawkins (Kevin ); one brother, Jeffery Pinkard III, two uncles, Denver Samples, and Odell Jones; seven grandchildren, Alani, Daphne, Taylor, Diallo Jr., Andi, Noah, and a bun in the oven; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
