Gussie Mae Cobb

Gussie Mae Wady Cobb was born July 27, 1922 to the parentage of Willie Wady and Eula Arnold Wady. Gussie attended West Point School in Kilgore. She confessed her beliefs in Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Zion CME Church in Kilgore, TX. She was very active in the Church until her health began to fail. On December 26, 1940, She was united in marriage to Theron Cobb Sr., To this union, five children were born. Gussie was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings. On Friday, February 26, 2010 the Lord dispatched an angel to bring Gussie home. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Lou Ann Williams(Raymond),Carolyn Jean Mitchell(Stelvin Sr.), all of Kilgore, Texas. Three son's Jimmy Cobb(Dentra) of Kilgore, TX., Theron Cobb Jr.(Wileen)of Longview, TX., and Willie Cobb of Los Angeles, CA., She also leaves ten grandchildren, Stelvin Jr., Roger, Angy Renee', Angela Kaye, Kristen, Vernon, Tachada, April, Adam, and Jimmy Jr., she also leaves seven great-grandchildren. A best friend Evelyn Johnson, two special friends, Lovie Butler and Maomi Liner. Lastly she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
