Geraldine "Madea" Jackson

She was born July 4, 1924 to the parentage of the late Louis Daniels and Josephine Washington Daniels in Rusk County. She united with El Bethel Baptist Church at an early age, attended Jim Town Schools in Overton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Kelly Jackson, son Sammie Porter,4 brothers,5 sisters, and two grandchildren. She passed away May 8, 2017 at her residence.She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters Bobbie J. Moss and Carrie L. Jackson of Kilgore TX; Callie M. Jackson of Longview TX; daughter-in-law Lois Porter of Tyler TX; two sisters Mary Ruth Smith of Bartwell, TX; Mc Beth Spencer of Ennis, TX; special cousin Hazel Johnson; 8 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
