Frances “Francine” Lee Williams Henson was born to Charlie and Louisa Williams on March 1, 1936 in Rusk County. His Lord and Saviour called her home April 4, 2022.
She was a long-time member of Saint John Steber Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Henson, was well-educated in the areas of Education, Accounting, Law and Clinical care giving. She had a love for playing dominoes, attending church socials and engaging family engagements, Mrs. Francine had a beautiful singing voice and loved to entertain family and friends, with her quick humor and wit.
Mrs. Frances was proceeded in death by her husbands, her parents, one brother, LC Williams, sisters, Maureen Wheat and Christine Sheppard and son R.L. Britton.
She leaves behind with fond memories of two daughters - Gloria Lee Gutherie of Fort Worth, TX, Tracey Wilson of Austin, TX and son – Ivory Joe Williams of Ft Worth, TX. Frances had thirteen grandchildren, Ayisha Adekanmbi (Tracey Wilson); Ratrina Britton, Randall Britton, Cornelius Britton (RL); N. Dwan Ferguson, Ivette Ferguson, Ivory Joe Jr, Tarail Pierce, Marshonda Bowser, LaTrivi Bruce (Ivory Joe) and; Monica Johnson, Christopher Gutherie and Lamarcus Williams (Gloria); twenty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. She has two surviving sisters, Geneva Taylor (Cecil) of Kilgore, TX and Charlene Dudley of Longview, TX. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
