Fonzell "Woot" Jackson

He was born September 11, 1929 to the parentage of Ecker and Willie Mae Jackson in Rusk County. He died July 6, 2012 in Kilgore. He was member of South Main Church of Christ, where he served faithfully until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his parents,three brothers, Adell Jackson, Brown Jr. Jackson, James Curtis Sanders, and one daughter Doris Katherine Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 62 years Mary Lois Colbert Jackson; three sons, Larry Jackson(Carolyn), Sylvester Jackson, Fonzell Jackson Jr.(Lula) all of Kilgore. Two daughters, Linda Redic(Johnny) of Overton, Brenda Thomas of Gladewater, Texas. Nine grandchildren, LoKiest Jackson, Corey Jackson, Krystal Jackson, Jeremy Redic, Christopher Redic, Kaylon Jackson, Bryson Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Laretha Jackson. Seven great grandchildren, one brother Lee E. Jackson of Tyler, two sisters, Eva Lois Iles of Irving, TX, Betty Joyce Reddic of Longview, TX. One uncle James Jackson (Odessa) of Kilgore, TX., one aunt Tressie Jackson, of Tyler, TX. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives , friends and Church family.
