Florence Thurmand

Florence Thurmand was born February 6, 1938 to the late Marion and Josephine Sheppard in Harrison County, Texas.She moved to Kilgore at an early age. She attended New London School District. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church (Clover Community). She moved to Fort Worth, Texas due to her health. She was married to John Thurman. The Angels summoned her from Fort Worth, Texas to join her husband John and many other loved ones.She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Elizabeth and Lucinda; brothers, James, Joel (Jo Be) and Tim.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her adopted daughter, Teresa(Terri)Willie and her husband Major; granddaughters
TaMekia Sethi,and TaVida Harris; greatgrandkids, Shalisha, Racuarius, Antonio, Tyra, and Kobe; one sister Josie Coleman, sister-in-law Judlene Thurman, both of Kilgore; one brother Marion Sheppard of Dallas, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
