Florence Fortson

She was born March 5, 1926 to the late Ruzzell and Clara Cole Fortson in Meridian, OK. She was a member of Word of Truth Tabernacle, she retired from Sabine ISD.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Anton Fortson, one son, Herbert Spencer and one daughter Linda Dudley.
She passed away August 11, 2014 at her residence.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Lawson ( Ricky), and Darlene Hampton; five brothers, two sisters, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two nieces, and seven nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing12:30 to 8:30 P.M., on Fridayat the funeral home. No wake will be held.
